Meteorology does not rule out frost formation in limited areas of the highlands

The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects cold to very cold weather overnight and early morning in the governorates of (Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar and Al-Bayda) and in the highlands of the governorates of Al-Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, west of Al-Jawf and south of Mareb, and frost is not unlikely is formed in limited parts of them.

Cold weather is also expected in the highlands of the governorates of (Hadhramaout, Shabwa, Taiz, Raymah and Al Mahwit).

The center warned citizens in the above-mentioned highlands of cold and extreme cold, especially the elderly, children, sick people and workers during the night and early morning.

He advised farmers to take appropriate measures to protect their crops and crops from damage, and also warned those coming from hot regions of the need to take necessary precautions to avoid cold shock.
